Your
First
Visit
New patients are always
welcome. Here is a brief description of what to expect on your
first visit to my office. Please allow approximately 45 minutes to
perform the following.

Consultation /
Exam:
Information
is gathered to gain an understanding of the onset, duration and nature
of your condition. You receive a thorough examination consisting of more than 50 Chiropractic,
neurological, and orthopedic tests performed to determine the extent of
your condition, and if your complaint may respond to Chiropractic
care.
"The
Chiropractor asks for symptoms that he may locate the cause of the
ailment. The medical man inquires about infection in order to name
the disease."

X-Rays:
If
your consultation and examination findings indicate your
condition may respond to Chiropractic care X-rays will be
obtained. They are needed to verify the location of your
subluxations. X-rays will also reveal any contraindications to
Chiropractic care. If you have recent films of your spine X-rays
will not be taken.
"Chiropractic
seldom fails, and never does harm when properly handled."

First
adjustment:
Only
after all the above information is gathered and analyzed will you
receive your Chiropractic spinal adjustment. It involves a gentle
thrust by hand only to the subluxated vertebrae in your spine.
"The
more medicine one takes, the more must be taken. The smaller
amount taken, the less needed. If none is taken, it is soon
discovered that none is needed."
